Do you still get nervous when sending large amounts of crypto to an exchange, another wallet of yours or as a payment? Rate this pain from 1π to 5π°
Iβve only recently started to get more comfortable. Probably like a 2.5
1 Usually just double checking the address before sending. It's a copy paste function so not sure what's the point to send a test tx. 6 years ago did a lot of test tx first :)
3 to 4 - feel this every month regardless of how many times I've double-checked, the Coinbase deposit address never feels real, like maybe they autogenerated a new one in the last ten seconds when I wasn't looking
About a 3 normally... 5 when off ramping with moonpay. There's something unsettling about sending funds to a random empty address and just hoping they send you the cash π°
4 majority of the time I still send a small test transaction. Itβs too easy to just delete my money π΅βπ«
Sent five figures worth of USDC to my wifeβs Coinbase wallet on the Polygon/Matic network. Tried to patiently explain to her that Coinbase would support it, some day, eventually they did a couple of months later. π°
In the past 7 days we did about 300 transactions avg $116 in USDC and all were zeroshot send, just like a normal payment system. If we had to test send each one first the economics would break on gas I have zero issues but nothings perfect which is why I gave it a 1.1
