the new ui gives reply, recast, like, bookmark, tip, and share the same level of visual priority this is painful because most users dont place the same level of importance on each of these, and so now have to spend more time and cognitive effort figuring out which one to click the ui should be more opinionated

the knobs to play with are: 1) time (which actions should be displayed on the cast in the feed vs the detail view) and, 2) the kebab menu (what should be persistently displayed vs behind an interaction)

I initially liked it but I totally agree, the channel name as far from the buttons as possible takes an immense about of eye movement/ energy to go back and forth when it was a single glance to know what channel, you didnt even need to read the old one to know are they making room for more buttons for tipping etc?
