New essay in which I: - introduce myself and Forms of Incubation, my new project - explain why Iβm leaving Substack - say nice things about @farcaster, @paragraph, and @zora - link to a lot of casters (this IS a scenius...) https://paragraph.xyz/@danicaswanson/scenius-incubation-open-source-creative-processes
βCasting far beyond my comfort zone here. But I'm going to lean into it.β Heck yeah Danica. Thanks for the beautiful and personal writing, about your background, your journey and process, and the ideas behind Forms of Incubation πππ
The wisdom of "not knowing" - beautiful stuff @danicaswanson π³
Would also like to make it known that I'm open to trading editing services with other web3 editors working on open source projects, especially projects that align with the interests I mentioned in this piece.
new here and my first rabbit hole will be to start a newsletter on @paragraph and learn what it's all about. thanks for sharing.
Very insightful, Danica. I have a substack publication, which I would say has done okeish in terms of revenue (it is a bestselling newsletter on the platform with 300 premium members). Nevertheless, I find myself questioning if I should try paragraph more and moreβ¦
Thoughtful and thought-provoking. also, a great example of a modern essay: - there's a tldr - techo-social exploration - personal examination - hyperlinks
Enjoyed this a ton, great writing style! "And reducing the attention labor required for editing?".... I've been writing on @paragraph the last few months as well and feel the same - the editor is like notion which makes it more comfortable to research & draft there. When I used substack, I always started in gdocs
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this with my coffee this morning (the dogs had to wait!). I resonate with it all, and think this especially is the nut to crack: "Make unseen labor (including "scenius labor") visible, and help contextualize it."
ππ€π I love this so much!!! I need to read again & digest β so much here! So glad you found your way here. We need your voice!
