curious to know if there are any warp users in farcaster. their demo looks sick, but always good to hear from those who have experienced it firsthand. https://www.warp.dev/

nope, like I seriously don't like having companies running my terminal :-) I love my bash/zsh within Linux. That's it :D (I'm becoming old)

I use it mostly for its translucent windows and command separation. For AI suggestions I still use GPT-4 via ChatGPT as it's more reliable.

Would love to switch, and this is probably the biggest nitpick ever, but waiting for them to support P3 colors first 😅

I have been using warp for a while and love it. Used iTerm2 and alacritty before that.

I'm currently using Hyper but this looks really cool! Will give it a spin.

Not a huge fan of having everything I type be sent to a server ... :)

Used it for a few months last year. While it felt faster in some aspects, the bugs and the awkward interactions killed it for me. I was really confused by the experience: I really thought devs would know how to build a good terminal! Went back to iTerm in the end.

it's lighting fast, and the auto-complete suggestions border on magical Benefits: - saves a few seconds here and there - avoids some time-costly detours Costs: - a bit sus to notice telemetry in such a low-level tool - context switching when working cross-platform, necessary evil

I went from iterm2 to warp. I love it. Being able to skip words, lines, key up and down lines normally, # and get gpt assistance is nice, I haven’t thought about switching back ever
