Can't agree more! Education is very often the answer and much more empowering than arbitrary "protections".

(I know about the devil's advocate!) I think it's actually a very interesting moral question and one that I think we collectively failed to grasp... leading to more inequality, contrary to the expectations.

The problem is that if you are poor, you cannot afford to NOT get a chance out of poverty thru these investments either. Keeping "poor" people out of the ability to invest because they could lose so much also keeps them out of the ability to get out of poverty.

It is a moral hazard to have rules/laws around investing that are based on whether you are rich. Being rich is not a proxy for being smart. (If you disagree with this I invite you to consider whether you think being poor is a proxy for being not smart).

Is it less bad if you pull the same tricks on a person with $1M? The simple fact that being rich means you can invest and poor means you can't is a moral hazard either way. If investments are scams, then letting _anyone_ invest is bad. If investments are not scam, then not letting someone because they're poor is bad.

Last week, the Privy team and us put our happy hour on chain. There's nothing to win, yet, degens mint 4000 of them. This week, we launch a scavenger hunt on chain with Coinage. There's 5 Eth + 10 intermediate prizes and the degens don't care.

I have never seen that before. I suspect both Phantom and MetaMask are injecting and that creates a conflict? We use ConnectKit https://docs.family.co/connectkit here which is one of the leading providers for that kind of features...
