How often do you vote in on-chain governance? 1. Multiple times per week 2. Once a week 3. Once a month 4. A few times a year 5. Never
off-chain (snapshot) every two weeks. on-chain is a bit random. Fits and starts.
Used to be 1 but haven't been able to follow Nouns stuff lately so 4 ATM.
5. At the moment I never vote but I hope to do it in the future once DAOs improve. Currently unless you are a whale 🐳 with a lot of tokens there isn’t much to do imo.
On gardening leave: e’ry day IRL working in a non-crypto-native industry: why doesn’t Discord have better notification settings, and I will pay $$$/ETHETHETH for a concise daily summary of what I need to read/action
been in the industry for two cycles, just did my first on-chain governance vote 5 minutes ago
4 but that's because I don't feel like my votes make a significant impact. If I participated in protocols with a more even distribution of voting power I'd likely do it more.
1. I spend nearly all my time involved in on-chain governance across various chains.
This time last year it was once a week, sadly at this point things have changed and its currently a few times a year
basically either 1 or 5, depending on whether you're in nouns lol. and then a few really awesome weirdos who are major delegates on comp, aave, mkr, ens, op, etc. who do 3
⌐◨-◨ 1. Cuz ⌐◨-◨ I vote multiple times on the same prop in multiple places (yeah we are working on that lol)
Is snapshot considered as onchain or offchain? Vote on snapshot several times a month. Not so much real onchain vote except on Nouns fork DAOs.
Used to be 3 but then the protocol I was a delegate for got rekt, RIP. Now 5.
4 I think it would also be interesting to know how many opportunities you have to vote. For me that falls under option 3
4 because there's no good way or single place to notify me about what i can vote on and when. snapshot does a poor job, discord is a clusterfuck of irrelevant notifications.
4. If a governance system requires to be voting all the time on everything, there's probably something wrong.
