notifications when your cast is quoted
I want to tap an NFT profile pic and be taken directly to that token's profile page with collection links. I like how Twitter did it, once upon a time.
I feel quote casts (of either other casts or of Tweets) could be presented a bit better. Currently the quoted content so grayed out that you can barely read it. And any embedded images etc. are not shown at all. I feel Twitter does this much better. See screenshots for comparative examples.
Superior embedded media handling.. Responsive cast heights for better and more pleasing aesthetics when fitting embedded medias in casts • full height/width square media • full width landscape media • fuller height portrait media
At the moment, on mobile (maybe Android only, but I think iOS as well), you get a mint-with-warps button on mints from Zora. That is great, but it's hard (nigh impossible) to get around it if you want to hoard your warps for other things. So, I would (have the team) work on that.
PS: I'm a regular /gmfarcaster watcher, so I'm not worried about video anymore. Which brings me to the second feature: get a notification when a channel your the lead of gets "channel-tagged". It might help me drive engagement.
How media is displayed - not just formats, the entire experince
Oh, oh, oh. That brings me to the third feature: nominate channel leads. Or actually: when there's a channel 'consensus' have a button/procedure to get a channel lead appointed from before-permissionless channels (like f1).
NFT embeds need more navigation options besides favoriting/following channels, how do users filter the content within? negative feedback is all or nothing.
Idc what it costs let me use Apple Pay for the warps. I will do anything to avoid opening this website on my computer. That’s why I haven’t bought a warp or by extension created a channel. Let me more easily act on impulse
When I hover over a username, I'd like to see a little popup with details about the user (bio etc) and ideally a follow/unfollow button I can click right there. I use this feature on Twitter all the time and really miss it here.
On web, can you add the thing like on Twitter where I can drag and drop an image into the cast editor?

Bookmarking/save feature akin to X. I see great stuff on here regularly that I’d like to conveniently tuck away for later. Bonus points: simple lists or tags for saved content.

- swipe to reply in DCs - improved search. I need to regularly search “from:” and “contains:” together and it doesn’t work - a dedicated spot for links on profile page (my dream would be Mastodon style nameable links)
Better search. Tab -> the same users are highlighted for ~1yr (why? Some of them don't cast anymore) Channel/user search -> if I'm on _channels_ tab on iOS, and start typing a channel name, filter down to that channel, don't start searching for users

I think GIF uploads are more important than people give them credit for. The more engagement, the more users that will come. GIFs are a captivating medium of communication, especially amongst the 15-25 age group.

Launch a native token for the protocol. I’m in crypto because I feel like when you blend modern software with the right financial incentives it can solve systemic problems. There’s problems with social media (Spam, AI content, Creator monetization) that Farcaster could better address with a token IMO.
Performance on the web app- still times out too frequently
- muting cast notifications(/count has a hell thread I regret replying to) - fixing Search tab: starts with just two tabs, then when input field has text a third tab Casts appears. Also it resets the tab you’re on instead of persisting when inputting text - add secondary market links to NFT collections
Better “For You” equivalent feed. I deleted X over break and tried to use warp in the same way but I ended up just seeing the same content again and again. I’m sure there’s things being discussed here that would interest me, but it’s not in my feed.
Change the Share Cast button to default to recent channels, not users in Direct Casts. I’m not sure how many others are cross-casting but I find myself doing it a lot manually. You can search through my casts for just cast URLs if you’d like to assess how useful this action even is.

Experiment with ways to make it easier to read threads and addendums. Anecdotal but when I split a cast into two or reply to my cast with additional context or a correction, the subsequent casts get less views and reactions that the parent cast.
White screen when I have a bad connection In my experience apps have usually let me view things already loaded/old posts, so curious why it’s different here? I have no technical insight on it as a heads up

A feed of all the casts in your pinned/favorited channels. Since permissionless channels, I'm noticing I just click through my favorites and go through that content
please on-board the accounts that were permissionlessly signed up via Cast by @farquest and Flink by @slokh (as well as other methods conformant to the protocol)
I want to be able to side scroll through all my favorite channels in the pinned channel bar, especially important with the recent growth in number of channels.
Please please please - Let me open an NFT in browser from the mobile app. Currently when mint with warps is an option, I can’t open in browser to view and or mint with wallet. 🙏🙏
#1 remove having to click "See More" a billion times a day. Reading through threads or conversations is entirely painful.

I would love to see some custom icons (community created and in-house) for my device Home Screen. I know that the Apollo App (RIP) had dozens of app icons that could be changed on the fly. I would probably see if we could get something created by @bias as well.

Allow me to turn off notifications for reactions separately from replies. Reactions require no action from me, while replies do, so they feel separate to me.
We may need other react options other than the heart, particularly thumbs up, care, wow, sad, angry, questioning, winking, meh and lol. 👍🥰😮😢😠🤨😉😑🤣

Channel muting, but only in my mixed feeds. I would still like to be able to view the channel upon intentional visit.
I'd also improve the rendering or embedded casts (keep blank lines, images, etc.) More important now that we have quote casting. Bonus points if the embedded cast has a channel marker.
I'm probably in the smollest minority but i'd love more notifications from warpcast I have so many apps, I need the inbound heads up
Late reply, but have a small feature as BBFOWF It would be really nice to have a setting to not get notifications for a watched cast I almost always use watch as a way to bookmark for later, not to be reactive to low-effort replies that say "gm ser"
