what kind of product person are you? I’m closer to 0 to 1, with a heavy focus on design.

Same! Imagine this is common in Web3

I'm more of a "1 to 100" engineer

Definitely more a 0-1. Early discovery and shipping over optimisation every day of the week

I love both worlds but feel the pull towards 0 -> 1 more often.

I'd argue there's a 1 to 10 PM too Someone who takes early PMF signs and amplifies them but isn't interested in the hardcore optimization work need to push things to 100

I'm a designer who got dragged into product leadership and strategy and 1000% what you said. Much more comfortable in the early Discovery => Traction => PMF

For the product folks what advice do you have for engineers?

0-1 but I have mad respect for the 1-10-100 type. Would be interesting to see the correlation between design background and 0-1 versus biz/finance/eng background and 1-100.

definitely 0 - 1, seems like most founders are 0 -1 product people at heart.

I’m probably a “1 to 2” PM: thrive bringing spec’ed-but-not-tested R&D to production 😄

Same. In fact my IRL career has always struggled because I can’t finish the last 5-10% of a project. Once it’s “good enough” I want to hand it off

0 to 1 is my absolute favorite In building a product In building an audience In building anything

0-1. 1-100 gets quite boring
