1 & 2 I feel like when one happens the other is soon to follow
2. I think bio signatures from whatever comes after the James Webb will give us 80%+ confidence that something is living out there.
2 we'll see spectroscopic changes indicating primordial life at a distance
3. Drake's equation states the odds of a civilization developing on a habitable planet are less than about one in 10 billion trillion.
4: I would be stoked on 1 or 2, I’m more concerned about humans being our own worst enemy when it comes to progress and getting out amongst the stars and I don’t trust the perpetual tard-rollout of very questionable evidence for earth based confirmation
