I'm in Miami and I only valet when there's no other accessible parking nearby. That's where I see the value, if its somewhere downtown or the beach then yea I'd rather valet cause finding a spot's gonna be a bitch

Also, in Miami it's quite normal and they're good at it. Even some residential buildings offer valet as a service for residents. You just don't park your own car.
