OKAY I HAVE FOUND AN AWESOME HACK TO GET THE MOST OUT OF FARCASTER …follow a lot of people. Worrying about your follower ratio is for idiots and egotists. The people on this app have basically self selected for being very fucking interesting. Follow indiscriminately. Trust me.
This has been my strat for months and I totally agree. I heard @pmarca talk about following 20K people on the bird app and it totally changed my thinking of dipping in and out of the stream.
Sometimes it gets overwhelming src I manually followed and unfollowed the network twice
+1 , especially been following new members to get them pumped.
Also beast mode Farcantasy. A) meat shield. Defence. B) many follow back. Attack.
The other nice thing is if your main following gets too large and unruly, you can create “lists” on discove for highlighted feeds
