idea for farcaster problem: For you section, there are way too many who don’t become daily users idea: Section of daily users (shown by daily streaks - @dwr prolly used fc 100,000 days in a row) why? i often follow by their bio, but many of them turn into ghost accounts. only wanna follow daily daily casters
+💯 on this. My workaround is to wait for @ncbot to surface someone and then I see if they have 3 or more casts. If not, I generally wait a bit
i'm working on something like this now, will launch in a couple days. you'll be able to sort all FC users by pretty much every engagement metrics (e.g. # casts, replies, replies by others, watched casts) and then filter by time (e.g. 24 hrs, 7 days, 14 days)
wish i could just automatically unfollow anyone who hasn't been active at all in 1 week. i apply the same rule to @perl alpha group on telegram, and boot people who are not active (chat or bet) for a week.
Love this idea & what about pair posting, like having a casting buddy who brings you to the fc gym. @dwr discussed enabling your “maker” to get credit for engaged invitees—what if credit were keyed to their responsibility for your care and tutelage on the platform and nudging you to post? btw, @j4ck is nudgemaster gen!
since joining last year around april, i think i’ve never missed a single day. @dwr i’m a hyper dau
yes and sort "NFT owners" by their recent usage or at least incorporate activity into ranking
I like the idea of daily streaks. Should even be a stat (number of days). App notifications reminding me my streak will end if I don’t cast today (toggle on/off). Leaderboard. Etc.
love the idea, though would want to be careful not to reward borderline spammy behavior / people realizing they can get a lot of exposure by simply casting low-quality stuff frequently. should be another factor to determine rank but yeah, i def want to un-follow inactive users now
I'd add that we need the ability here to add accounts to different lists just like on Twitter
I would like something similar too. It’s always great to come to a vibrant and active community
Interesting idea for social in general. Being able to each uniquely configure would be nice. Two concerns: 1. Some people worth following are active in sprints (I’m guilty of this at times). 2. At scale your list would be spammed with bots posting daily. Both solved with custom configurations.
