Okay so next hard fork, you're gonna have to contribute to the @dappnode smooth pool to get the POAP, right? π€£

Are *you* better off staking from home? By some small degree, maybe yes. Is the *network* better off with you staking at home? Four sure, yes. I.e., I don't think there's that much more personal risk with LSTs but it adds to the collective existential risk.
2nd day in a row that our 2 1/2 year old made it through daycare in the same pair of underpants. π Still resists going at home until he *really* needs to go though.
POAP ENS Both have utility, aren't completely speculative, and are fun to use.

Where are the Lions fans hanging out on Farcaster!?! I can't believe this is happening. #AllGrit
Home staking ever since you started putting out the first how-to videos on reddit in summer of 2020. Love it because it forces me to stay tuned in to what's happening in the staking landscape and provides learning opportunities.
You can't change your withdrawal address once it is set, so you have to exit and then re-enter with the correct withdrawal address. I believe that's what @uncle is referring to. (If you never updated from 0x00 to 0x01 withdrawal credentials then you can do it without exiting/re-entering.)

@joinfire's "Transaction of the Day" mini-campaign (aka Season 0) was awesome for this. Wen Season 1??
Smoothly, on the other hand, seems more aligned with any staker regardless of how they run their clients, and therefore better positioned to be "the one." π€·ββοΈ
To me, Dappnode's ethos has always been helping their users participate in other ecosystems - the "greater good" so to speak - not funnel them into their own fee-generating stream. I get why they did that, of course, and appreciate it.
Joining forces resolves the tension of competing for donations, but it also introduces a new tension surrounding the small fees that the operators take. Neither wants to willingly give that up (understandably).
However, when you add in the donation aspect, we actually have created competition between the pools, which is *antithetical* to the solution. Seems like we gotta get everyone together to eliminate inefficiency, and potentially, needless infighting.
