They are theoretically the same. It would be more cumbersome to do the second when you already have a 2 sided marketplace to buy the yt from. Also in practical terms doing the second is more transactions and more fees for the same result.
@colin there is the little eye on published posts that indicate how many views the post has. It would be great if i could choose which statistic to show here. Like instead of scanning views, being able to scan unique views or total read time instead for my posts.
“Truth Machines”. Lets talk about truth, falsehoods, and blockchains. https://paragraph.xyz/@non-fungiblethoughts/truth-machines
Personally i think we should just go ahead and prevent stake from exceeding 50%. If it doesn’t get there due to market forces then no harm done. If it does get there then we proactively prevented a potential threat to ethereum.
Published a short story on my blog which got collected as an nft by some of my readers. Shoutout to @paragraph
A mashup between the characters of "Honeycomb" and "Red Rupee". Enjoy "Blue Rupee". https://paragraph.xyz/@non-fungiblethoughts/blue-rupee
Transactions on l2 will get very cheap and fast. Anyone think we will get wallets within wallets? That is, a “wallet” that actually maintains multiple accounts behind the scenes and sweeps your nfts/erc 20s into a safer cold storage wallet when not in use. While keeping active transactions on a hot wallet portion.
Latest short story is up. A little more chill than yesterday’s. https://paragraph.xyz/@non-fungiblethoughts/half-penny
Feeling great that some people liked this short story enough to be my first mints on paragraph. Really cool to officially be “collectable”. At least to 3 people 😁
A story recovered from deep within the bowels of discord. One of many projects that didn't survive the bear. But a fun story to share anyways. Enjoy. https://paragraph.xyz/@non-fungiblethoughts/honeycomb
Personally the first time i “connected” my wallet to a site and it pulled all the relevant info without me having to create a login or type in a password was kindof magic. It was like i had unlocked some magic door.
A couple of 4844 fee predictions - L1 gas fees will not go down in a noticeable way. L2s using less gas will get swallowed by bull market usage of the L1. - L2s will not achieve <1 cent transactions during this bull cycle. Will instead be in the 1-10 cent range per transaction for the near to medium term.
The idea that long term investors and advisors are going to ignore the eth etf because it came after the btc etf is silly. It is equivalent to saying tesla wont get any bid because ford came first.
Taxes my second year in crypto were rough. A bit more streamlined this year.
Chucky cheese tokens (aka utility tokens) are fun bullmarket playthings. But don’t get confused and think they are worth anything outside of the arcade when the party ends.
