If you like fred again, wait until you discover the big booty mix series…

I just discovered the ultimate Farcaster lore. I can’t believe it took so long to listen to hidden gem that is fred again: boiler room. I am officially a fredagaincaster. Energy is unmatched. My productivity has spiked 10x. I will listen to fred again, again, and again. I will never work without fred (ever) again.

Reminds me of Brave ads. I love the browser, but the core value prop that was originally pitched (get tokens to view ads while searching the web) ended up being the thing I hated the most. Funny how the value of attention is so misunderstood…

Still haven’t felt like I’m getting everything out of other Farcaster-connected apps rn, but I’m starting to use searchcaster.xyz by @greg which is super dope and considering using paragraph.xyz by @colin. Excited for v2 which I hope will open the doors for more people to build cool apps on the platform.

Quick shoutout to @ace and @peter for building @perl, which is slowly becoming my goto for keeping up with high signal twitter/tech content without all the TL noise. 10x improvement from Twitter lists or newsletter highlights for me simply due to content velocity.

Looks like there’s some interest in the form of plugins (here’s a popular one and they even use the word automagically!) https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/767379019764649932 Would love for something like this to be ingrained natively in the app and run on auto save. Would pay for it to just “work” out of the box

Would honestly pay for a Figma auto-cleanup / Prettier plugin lol, I’ve spent too many hours meticulously organizing after an ideation sprint to avoid losing things in the void forever

Have you read Thinking, Fast and Slow or Atomic Habits? Felt like both books covered this topic to a certain extent

What are your biggest predictions for the next 12-24 months (eg interests rates and their long-lasting effects, tech stocks, etc)?

Can’t wait for AR at scale. Imagining the second order effects in less obvious places like remote job marketplaces where interfaces look easy and enjoyable to use (reminds me of the vision @balajis laid out for the future of remote work)

But even then you’ll most likely burn out, not a very sustainable path selling your soul to a company unless it aligns directly with your core values and you’re a necessary asset

Only makes sense if you have good equity comp imo, ties performance more directly with payout
