No use fighting over the pie when there isn't much of a pie yet. Best to work even with companies (semi) competitive with you to bake the biggest pie possible. We can fight over the size of the slices later. It's not even clear there will be a pie yet, particularly if we start a food fight in the kitchen.
This makes more sense if one recalls that before the Apple App Store (which launched soon after this capture), it was the carriers who really controlled the mobile experience, down to the branded software on the subsidized phone you were holding.
Hm, given I stumbled into fatherhood and have basically lived my life in the wrong order, while @dwr.eth did everything in the prescribed order, we may indeed have different views.
If this group ever gets more followers than /moz than I'm going to ask @dwr.eth to start downranking all its content.
I'm clicking the 'apply' button like a gerbil on meth and nothing is happening.
There’s some sort of Christian chorus convention at this Denver hotel, and getting back to this from a full day of unhinged crypto hustling is like that scene in ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ when a drugged-out Hunter S. Thompson encounters a sheriff’s convention in his hotel.

You want to see how fast the Internet is at Spindl, literally at South Park and next to the Blue Bottle? It's slower than this. Internet is slower and more expensive in the US. US has the sixth most expensive data, next to such tech luminaries as Oman and Honduras.
Internet in this 18th-century Parisian building is faster and lower-latency than in my SF loft located next door to Airbnb and Google. Your move, @dwr.eth.
Yeah, so why does Mobile, AL feel much, much poorer than Spain or Italy? Not just feels, by every quality of life metric from longevity to crime. Also, spare me the bullshit comp: you’d never live in Mobile, you’d have the time of your life in Seville.
