I think flink is a good one. Any of the alt apps like farcord and herocast that have a focus on channels are also great imo. I love your irc like design idea too.
It’s however we vote. I think projects and people are interchangeable but I especially think being a channel lead or leader is a project. I also think Herocast, flink, farcord, CoCreated are all good examples of projects making good use of channels.
Please create this permissionlessly. @herocast et al enable this. Eventually wc might pick pick up if there’s engagement. Kinda sucks to have to use two apps but 🤷🏻♂️ You also get to choice art and oof you want to change it etc
@herocast has great, near-instantaneous account switching. Everything responds almost as quick as thinking. It is different enough from other clients, that IMO it's difficult to overcome inertia and familiarity. and @hellno.eth has been remarkably responsive so far

@hellno.eth is it time to retire my permissionless channel on Herocast? I'm happy to request it be removed from the UI
currently not possible i use the @jam client for @icebreaker on mobile and @herocast on desktop, which supports multi-account i think @woj.eth may also be thinking about this with his wip client
It’s imgur compression. Alternative clients don’t necessarily have to use imgur - if you cast from @later the quality will be better. Same may be true of others like flink or herocast but I’m not sure
Don’t think you can unfortunately. Best work around at the moment is to use a different client such as @herocast or @farcord to bypass it
fwiw this is how warpcast displays a cast to a channel that warpcast doesn't yet support (the DAOhaus channel was created via @herocast)

yes ser, you can create new channels on herocast, where the casts will also appear on Waprcast but the channel itself can’t be pinned or selected in the Warpcast app

try signing up for herocast if you're inclined! it's had more seasoning than flink (nice way to say older) and has cool experiments with two flavors of permissionless channels
dang dude, you couldn't wait to post a smiling selfie! bounty is still open, it's supposed to be for signing up and casting from a new client (eg @herocast but any will do). afk rn, will check onchain when I get back if you created a new signer (as part of onboarding to a non-Warpcast client)
