fwiw I'm on Supercast 90% of the time when I'm not on Warpcast, including mobile. Clean UX, and no vapidity that I don't want to see. The other 10% is currently split across U3 (aka degencaster), herocast (desktop), OpenCast (currently down, for known reasons), Flink (also currently down, idk why), and Cast

@herocast is open-source - so far mostly for desktop. happy to collaborate with anyone who wants to expand to mobile. already uses best in class @neynar and @mod integrations https://github.com/hellno/herocast
thanks for the tag! @rad, currently working on this as an integration between @herocast and @hatsprotocol. The basic idea is that your multisig will control a contract designed to own your farcaster account/fid, which you can configure to delegate casting perms to other accounts using hats.

FarAppsOne of the reasons is that today there are many great alternatives that didn't exist over a year ago when I made @discove. Here are the best replacements: check out @supercast for feeds of lists of users, @alertcaster for tracking keywords, @flink for best search, @fiids for custom feeds, @herocast for shortcuts
my experiments tl;dr - herocast uses api based on hypeshot NFTs - flink made a flink channel inside flink only - cocreated + negationgame made own, similar to d33m approach(?) - neynar open-sourced community-manually updated JSON, deprecated b/c permissionless cambrian explosion makes it perpetually outdated

you can post and create permissionless channels today using @herocast → currently 15 non-warpcast channels and you can add your own as well
