For the Liftcasters: current plan for home gym. The squat rack is the size of an 8'x8' deadlifting platform
Love the yoga station. It’s surprisingly demotivating to take the stuff out every day instead of just going in and knocking it out
Could you save space by having the pullup bar mounted on the rack?
suggestion: ditch the plyo box (its a space killer and duplicates the same functionality as your bench), merge db with yoga station, give yourself more room to add plates on right side of rack. my garage gym after many iterations:
I would recommend not putting squat rack there if your door opens that way. Instead place it at opposite corner from walking in door at ~45degree. Or have it take up most of the back wall. DC if you want further reasoning.
get some cool lighting in there massive neon light in place of tv led strips around ur platform inspo https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8wTUkxQba80 or https://www.instagram.com/reel/Ch28T-qJ1fx/
This is gonna be sick! Off-the-cuff suggestions, don't need em: a) center the pull-up rack with the top mirror, scoot the bike forwards b) mount rings facing the yoga station mirror? c) stall-bars & bands at the bottom d) sonos speaker or similar e) mirror by the dumbbells f) tiny table under tv g) chalk bucket
In the process of building one right now. What software did you use for the floorplan?
Love it. What are the dimensions? Wondering if there's space for a small sauna / steam room if the yoga mat isn't a permanent fixture.
LFG i'd recommend a mary kondo pass. delete the unessential to keep the room uncluttered make sure you have good ventilation and fresh air
The thing that jumps out at me is that you can save space on the squat rack itself… the platform is nice at 8x8, but a solid Rogue squat rack will be 30” in depth - maybe 49 in wide? Or a bigger one will be around 4’ by 4’ - which allows you to have multiple lifting stations in the rack and outside of the rack
