wow so people are using Anki for programming? Interesting, I would have never thought about that. I use it to learn Italian vocabulary.

So true, Anki is a great concept but the user experience is poor. They don't have to go full duolingo with cartoons and achievements, but make it look and behave like a mainstream app and it will rule
It’s amazing how deeply broken the Anki UI is and how resistant it is to be improved.
