lawyers hourly rates (I've spent enough on lawyers over the years to learn there are good lawyers, and there are bad lawyers, and seem to costing the same amount)

Generally speaking I tend to think billing per hour is a scam, or at least not customer friendly. It incentivizes slower work and punishes experts for finishing quickly.
