We’re super excited to announce that you can now create Farcaster Channel NFTs on Hypeshot! When creating an NFT you have the option of selecting “Create a Farcaster channel” which spins one up automatically (on the protocol level) https://tinyurl.com/4dm5nchb
Since channels can be formed around NFTs, funds can be raised via creator fees on buys and sells / the price of the NFT. For NFTs created on Hypeshot, there is a built in Creator Fee of .000402 ETH on each transaction. Funds can flow to a multi-sig or any wallet address https://warpcast.com/nonlinear.eth/0x792090
Very cool!! Curious if there’s also going to be a front end to display channels minted on Hypeshot(since all channels in Warpcast are gated internally)

Eventually channel creation and Warpcast frontend availability will be permissionless, no? Probably some curated list first and a search function to find the rest?
Nice to see someone do this! Its interesting to think about how clients will make decisions around which channels to show or hide especially when two channels have the same name or cover a similar topic.
Will created channels be visible via the usual channel search or only accessible and visible to holders?
