Hey @kepano -- I'm a longtime Roam user. What are some reasons I might want to switch to Obsidian, other than local data storage?

Local data storage alone was the big one for me! I love being able to do whatever I want with these text files.

Obsidian is permissionless and in @cdixon’s words has credible exit 😊 Your data is yours, available offline, and sync is E2E encrypted Data is all plain text, future-proof, readable forever, even if you switch to a different app Mobile works great 600+ plugins make the app extensible in all kinds of cool ways
