taterdao strikes me as the best example, followed by creator cabins, followed by citydao (which was...meh)

Been thinking about this question. I’m a residential architect and am really interested in experimenting with community sourced design AND construction. I do think the initial hurdle is figuring out a compelling reason why a decentralized community would want to co-own or co-occupy a building or space.

You might already know this but Orange DAO is renting coworking spaces in SF and NY. This was from an event during YC demo day in September!

Haven’t acquired it - but nouns just funded the redesign/overhaul of a deli in melbourne to make it a Nouns Deli
