Been thinking about this question. I’m a residential architect and am really interested in experimenting with community sourced design AND construction. I do think the initial hurdle is figuring out a compelling reason why a decentralized community would want to co-own or co-occupy a building or space.
You might already know this but Orange DAO is renting coworking spaces in SF and NY. This was from an event during YC demo day in September!
