Another idea for non-FC native channels that @nounishprof may prefer. Proposal hashtags. Make it a norm in the Nouns channel to cast about a proposal with an ID hashtag (eg #100), to organize casts/threads about different proposals - the nouns client would enable filtering based on these hashtags

The reason this might be superior is because a channel for every prop would require people to actively follow every single prop. Not ideal. Whereas hashtags take the channel conversation that's already existing, and enable filtering on top of it

The ideas are converging, @nounderline.eth and myself were discussing how norms around texts could lead to better visibility and discovery

An alternative is to index links like census.wtf and extract the proposal from the URL. That would require more work for aggregating party but would work well on all Farcaster clients.

That makes sense! I think @dwr.eth is a bit anti # tag but seems to like this. Would be cool to integrate into one of the bots (Alphacaster, botfrens) so they drop automatically but also to organize if just chatting about it and it linked back with that tag. Hmmmm like this @six! 🧅

Love! Devil's Advocate... if someone mentioned noun #xyz or episode #xyz, it would end up in the results. And, new people would not know about it. Something like #NounsDAOProp333 would work across platforms, and the format would be obvious. More typing and typos for sure, but cleaner data and broader reach.

I think for proposals specifically we could use some sort of prop tag, like when posting in a channel, then there’s “sub channels” for each prop that you could select when posting. Avoid hashtag inaccuracies/errors/misuse/abuse.
