Giant auto companies aren't going anywhere although some of the dozy ones will flunk the transition. People still want cars, they still have economies of scale, EVs aren't really a disruptive technology in the Clayton Christensen sense
true some will stay but if you visit see the EV coming out of China, Vietnam,India etc you’ll see how far behind US/EU automakers are. TSLA is not doing what it’s doing b/c it’s magic. It’s b/c they’re full stack. A typical GM car relies on 100s of vendors. Cannot innovate on machine that makes machines
