Does anyone know what’s the easiest country to get permanent residency? Country/continent doesn’t matter. I live in Ukraine, men are literally drafted from the streets to the hell of war. Insanity! I need to get out of here, and one of the legal ways to cross border is to be a permanent member of another country.

The catch is I need to get permanent residency of another country without being present in that country. Temporary residency of European countries works too. Also I cannot afford 6-7 figures residency by investment, so I need to find another solution. Please leave your suggestion in the comment section Thank you 🙌

If you can make a case for refugee status, more options will open up. I'm not a lawyer, but that's where I’d start if I were in your shoes.

There are asylum applications that are accessible online You'd need to be physically present in the US I'm not familiar with other countries' processes but happy to brainstorm if I can be helpful https://www.uscis.gov/i-589

Some people I know won US green card lottery. It worked well for them. I haven’t won one. But I keep looking for similar programs from other countries, but unfortunately haven’t found any. You’d rather be super skilled or got plenty of money. Unfortunately I lack both

Depending on your qualifications you may be able to get a residency from Australia while being remote.

Legal path only? There's hardly any enforcement against illegal immigration in most Western Europe countries. If I were in your shoes, I'd bail for a couple years until things settle down while working remotely. Working around a couple hurdles with illegal status beats getting drafted to die in a war you don't care.

Canada has a point-based program called Express Entry. You get points through work experience, education level, and English proficiency (TOEFL score). They hold rounds of invitation every few months for the top scorers and issue them visas to immigrate permanently to Canada.
