I don’t love open art rounds because you won’t choose everyone so ultimately you are asking people to do work which may go uncompensated. No bueno. My preference for this first time changing the token art is to just curate/select an artist and @0xen is the obvious choice.
I’m not against opening it up to more artists but it’s going to be a much bigger/harder coordination project then and we need someone really passionate to own it, set it up and see it through.
I still think this should be a DAO decision. @0xen is a very good choice but we should ask the community if everyone is fine with it. Hence, a proposal is necessary in my opinion.
Agree with you on this Chris and with @deniz re a prop. My suggestion is that we should rotate the artist regularly (monthly / quarterly?) and this should be a stated intention in the prop
