People seem to be gaming the algo with questions, and highlights probably make this problem worse (I did this asking a few very general question and it's very effective). While I see the point, sometimes I feel I would rather see great statements and opinions (likes/recasts), so (2) for me

I feel this too, the gaming. But I would want more highlights so I can discover new folks if we can find a way to disincentive general questions.
