The feeling I get from my wife and others who grew up in China.. it’s kind of like talking about their deadbeat dad and how much of a drunk they are Response is the equivalent to.. I’m happy for you that you grew up in a loving household, but please stop. He’s not that bad, your parents aren’t perfect either

Totally agree But that doesn’t mean we should stop criticizing either’s bad behaviour When I read Chinese (or other’s) criticisms of Western governments I often agree with the criticisms! But the reverse is not frequently reciprocated, instead my agreement is viewed as an internet argument “win”
