Going to college. Leaving college. Getting married. Having kids. Kids moving out. etc etc These are the old life inflection points that drive changes in consumption. What are the new inflection for the modern era?
I have lots of ideas that extend well beyond what can be tested atm. one general aspect I'd like is for the range to increase dramatically on both edges, and overall some buffer for stressors. e.g. will we get century/millenium/etc bonds? how do kids & seniors manage insurance? how do the terms evolve in accuracy?
refocusing to our internal self belief and creating quantum leaps with love x compounded consistency over time.
to add: our possibilities & opportunities will not be driven my situations but what’s inside of us. to look inside & manifest the intrinsic & timeless things like character, internal fortitude, ability to find peace while the world tries to war for a piece of you & the ability to navigate the ups and downs in life.
i hope for the sake of society that getting married and having kids are still inflection points that the majority of us will experience but, given e/acc, perhaps could drive different consumer behaviors than in the past
I think your list is still mostly valid, I'd think about adding: First surplus income employment (in lieu of college or more important than college) Parents needing care
↓ Going to college. ↓ Leaving college. ↓ Getting married. ↓ Having kids. ↓ Kids moving out. → (💥 etc etc 💥) 💭 So much juice in "etc, etc"
Finding independence Finding love Finding a cause bigger than yourself Finding someone you want to help succeed Realizing mortality
