I think you create a sort of puzzle postcard that when solved displays a hidden message? - I’m unfamiliar with CTFs - the diagram is a bit unclear as how it works denotes layers(?) but then for the friend it’s a sequence of actions, which is clearer to me. - cool that it’s a mobile-friendly monospace text layout
Kind of a more specialized crossword puzzle? Instead of using creative verbal skills, you’re challenged in a couple different “languages.” Also makes me think of geocaching, without the geolocation part. Little hidden treasures you have to do a little work to discover.
Found the diagram hard to follow with identical lines pointing to examples. Maybe a different styling of some sorts? (Visited using mobile browser, may be okay with Desktop) Love the idea though! 🔥

A form of non-private semi-encryption in which an entity which can understand the puzzles/games can solve them in order to decrypt the enclosed message.
