WhatsApp used to be faster IMHO. Telegram made great improvements over the past few months. I think it’s up there now. There’s just too much spam and i reflexively avoid it though
TG isn’t encrypted by default. Which is interesting because most ppl trust it more than WhatsApp. Says a lot about the brand baggage over at FB.
The apps feel equally fast for interactions (telegram feels more fluid tho) Sending msgs is definitely faster in WhatsApp for me. Maybe it's cuz of server regions.
Signal is best because…. WhatsApp is where I talk to my European Airbnb hosts Telegram is my never ending web3 BD work chatter …And Signal is where I put my actual friends in crypto 😅 So chat apps = social circle folders
i tried to have a group chat on signal and it was the most excruciating experience that didn’t last a full week
i only like the encrypted part of this sentence... its a shit show when you use it to message more than 4 people... specially with the name change feature.
I've moved all my close contacts to Signal. Now both my family & friends' group chats are on Signal. I rarely have any issues.
Signal is fast enough for me ! Happy user for years. Onboarded all my friends and family. Never issues. And yes, love the simplicity.
Telegram is a miracle considering the story of Durov brothers and no equity funding from VC…
Whatsapp is slow af and unstable these days, probably the hundreds of chats on mine, telegram is much faster
