Westerns is one genre I haven’t really read. I’m reading Lonesome Dove. The blurb says “If you read only one Western novel in your life, read [it].” OK, I have read Blood Meridian and True Grit.

It’s tough to find stuff. Besides McCarthy, and some Elmore Leonard and James Lee Burke I still prefer to go through Italian westerns or French comics
