Exciting! Would you go? If so, what percentile of early movers would you be?

I straight up love this idea. So much potential. Water is probably my biggest question mark. Hoping they can make significant improvements there.

If they have easier immigration laws for talent (other than US), then I'd move

I’m a Cupertino native. The Bay’s current state deeply saddens me. I’d totally move here 💛

Given a blank slate, I wonder what the drivers would be for a rich and high quality aesthetic outcome. Something beautiful. I’ve lived in “invented cities” in Southern California (Aliso Viejo for example) not very old. We must do better than barbie world!

If the goal is creating a place ‘their kids’ can work & live in the biggest challenge is having a new house ownership (or not?) model which constrains price inflation. Otherwise it’ll be just another desirable place where house prices skyrocket.

I've been talking about this with friends for a while now. US desperately needs new cities built for modern times. More walking, biking, less cars, more mass transit, etc. it's possible.
