Cranberry juice tastes 10x better on an airplane. I order it on almost every flight, but it doesn’t even cross my mind as a drink option if I’m not at 30,000 feet. Is there a name for this phenomenon?
This is common with tomato juice, never heard about it with cranberry! You do taste things differently when you’re flying, due to cabin pressure and humidity https://www.salon.com/2022/07/30/why-does-tomato-juice-taste-so-much-better-on-an-airplane/
This is how I am with ginger ale. Let’s see if I can switch to cranberry next flight. Weird how automatic it is …
Guess I am not alone to do Ginger Ale. Have also done half and half Ginger Ale and Cranberry.
I've only known this phenomenon for tomato juice so far. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/may/12/united-airlines-tomato-juice-planes
Tomato juice, it's probably because you wouldn't have it in a resto and you've seen the videos about where they get their hot water 😳
