I’m not much of a coffee drinker, only have it once in a while. Three cups in a day I think is the most. My dad used to drink it from the time he got up to shortly after he got home. He nursed a thermos all day and people thought it was bottomless.

I was a barista once at a small bistro. The dishwasher and I were bored one slow day so I filled two 12 oz cups with espresso and chilled them. We chugged them. I thought I was going to have a heart attack and slept like shit.

I used to regularly have 2-3 one liter French press pots a day. Then quit drinking coffee completely for a couple of months and discovered the value of good sleep. Now I have a few flat whites a week, just because it makes me happy 🙂.

Did you feel any issues after that? I can not tolerate caffeine really well, a maximum is a latte 2-3 x week but my father takes 3-4 espresso a day and has no problems. Hope you are okay.
