Ok, agreed. Anyways, I can see Taleb being upset though. If you consume e.g. YCombinator YT content then they‘re selling us this philosophy of future determinism and virtue.
Just be brave, start a company, stare in the abyss, work hard and you‘ll be rewarded. But they can totally not know that and it‘s false.

Yeah, there's a lot of bullshit fairy tale ideas surrounding startup and hustle mentality/culture.

Still, without startups and innovation production would slowly plateau. And VC helps.
