The hardest truth to accept about lifting is: Body weight ⬆️ + Gym weight ⬆️ is so much easier to achieve than Body weight ⬇️ + Gym weight ⬆️ 😩
Yeah... what I've been doing now is body weight ⬇️ gym weight ➡️ flexibility/mobility ⬆️
Unless you have genetics/diet that make it so you don't easily gain weight 😡 For me it was: Gym Weight ⬆️ Body Weight 🔂 until I gave up and decided my genetics/diet is just better for rock climbing lol
Body fat ⬇️ + Gym weight ⬆️ Might be a more productive and achievable goal
What’s your diet strategy for #2? My brain seems to need a high fat diet during mentally taxing periods of time. Makes it hard to achieve the body weight ⬇️ part.
best thing ive ever donde for gym weight ⬆️ is GOMAD downside was cardio got fucked
Working my way down to 8% body fat rn after a decent bulk. Just praying my gym weight stays ↔️ lol
not at all you just need to realize that exercise makes you eat way more than you need (so you have calorie surpass) track what you eat and leave a deficit of calories if you have enough protein, you'll also get lean mass up whereas fat will go down :) but the best way to shred is to halt gym until you're shredded
