whenever i hear a consumer social startup pitch that contains authentic, genuine, and all the warm fuzzy adj, 

i can’t help but tune out (unless the demo is mindblowing, which i’ve never come across in these cases)

if i as a fellow founder tune out, investors will be thinking ‘what’s for dinner already.’

With a consumer social startup, is it the demo that matters or traction? For ex, would you have funded friend.tech based on just the demo

that’s interesting to hear. is this the case if the entire pitch was all feels and no execution, or what if it’s just the intro?
