if you were @dwr.eth — how would you grow farcaster DAUs? you have: - money in the bank - a team of stacked engineers - really nice flowy hair - a strong personal network
i'd lean into the flowy hair. that seems under utilized
confirm an eventual airdrop and add a "farcaster score" feature for accounts with points earned by casting every day then lean on score weighting based on follows+interactions with existing accounts (he knows existing accounts are high quality and their social reputation will keep them from "gaming" the airdrop)
Activate new users faster. I originally churned because I didn’t find my people and didn’t see engagement. I imagine a lot of new users are experiencing this. I came back because @vm peer pressured me to commit. I casted daily for i think a month and eventually found great discussions and community.
onboard more atomic networks -> skewed tech, but not so crypto-pilled so we start trending towards more palatable to outsiders. YC batches, tech clubs at grad schools, accelerators, Series B/C/D startup teams - pitching as winnable status games, lots of lurking VCs, or startup community w built in publicity w channels
make sure each major population center has its own client with an exclusive channel.
1. find every person on twitter with clout that monetizes it with some link in bio CTA (subscribe to newsletter / buy my product) 2. hand hold them through warpcast registration & setup 3. help them grow their bottom line through farcaster activity 4. if the bottom line grows, they will be coming back
Make it easier to use/understand, Enhance the UI/UX, Improve content visibility. There’s more, but since I don’t have a float hair, I’ll stop here.
