Apple Pay makes mobile shopping on non-Amazon websites usable. Only advantage of Amazon these days is shipping speed. Also, lol:
It's starting to feel like some of the wallet connect libraries (not Wallet Connect) that list all wallets in existence also shopify: pay pay pay pay pay pay pay pay jim cramer: sell sell sell sell sell sell sell sell
I really should not have brand affinity to any of these but I love Shop Pay and always choose that one
shopPay is probably one of my favorite Shopify features and a lot more consistent than Apple Pay. The convenience is so much that I now often use their app to search for products/brands directly as well. It’s the ease of Amazon for DTC shopping.
I also prefer apple pay cos they have shipping integrations on their wallet which gives very timely updates
Amazon-esque order aggregation is key when online shopping so I made it for the entire internet and added crypto so I don’t have to use giftcards anymore Inject a “pay with Join” button on every product page to beat all these buttons that show up at checkout, then keep all orders in one app join.twitter ;)
I enjoy using Apple Pay only because Apple force its availability on iOS, a little like their rule about sign in with Apple being required if another method is available (like FB). I'm not too keen on centralization here but if I can use an app without FB it's a +1 in my book
Websites that don’t (properly!) integrate Apple Pay are robbing themselves. Why would I bother creating an account on your shitty website just to buy one thing?
