Thailand: I like Koh Samui. most of Thailand is amazing, Phuket and Phi Phi are _too touristy and busy_. Chiang Mai can get warm and I don't like the animal imprisonment but good food! Vietnam: HCMC contrasts: one is beach with great night life and other is a super busy, populous city with great food

Thailand Island Recs: Thailand 1. Ko Phi Phi - beautiful island, home of the famous Monkey Beach. Fun nightlife if you're into that! 2. Ko Tao - a diving island, more developed than Ko Phi Phi. Lots of great scuba diving there or free diving if you're into that. 3. Ko Samui - a more developed and larger island.
