Quick poll -- in the Ethereum address you connected to Farcaster, are there are NFTs you care about that you didn't mint or buy directly with that address? i.e. you acquired it with a separate address and sent it to the current address?
Was just going to ask you about something concerning this: When or how often is the NFT indexing updated?
I mint my art for a different address and send one to my primary address which I use for Farcaster.
No not really, but eventually I will like to have a secret vault. Where I can send some nfts to that address and keep it as a backup. I know a few people that do that.
No. FWIW I have multiple mint/burner addresses on Solana for NFTs as it's cheaper to send NFTs around wallets. Prefer to do this vs connecting my main NFT bank addy. Would probably do the same for other chains w/ cheap gas.
yes most of them - but only because of a scam scare a few months back. quickly transferred all NFTs to this new wallet
yup. i've ended up moving everything to a new address a few times for various reasons. seems like it ends up being about once a year.
Yes, but they were minted for other purposes. Specifically related to sriram jr
I have a separate wallet for this address and so far a separate wallet to mint. I’m currently trying to get my arms wrapped around the best protocol to execute for wallets (cold, hot, transfer, accessible for access)
I moved my ENS domain to this wallet because I wanted it to be on my Ledger (that I still need to send back because the darn battery is faulty).
Yep. Due to only keeping very small amounts of eth in wallets sometimes mint with others
Yes, usually mint certain degens plays with this wallet. Got a whole other wallet I started to use to mint what I hold for collecting and long term.
Yes, about 98% of them. I started NFTs last year with a MM wallet, then wised up and moved everything to a ledger. Which is now my primary wallet for anything I care about.
The opposite. Signed up with a hot wallet used for spur of the moment mints, full of miscellany. Would consider adding others holding semi-valuable assets as and when need arises.
No, but I don’t keep any NFTs in the address that I verified other than my ENS (+ drops). I like to keep things isolated for security + privacy
Yes, have my hardware wallet connected to FC, but use a burner software wallet for mints usually
I use my wallet with my public ENS for farcaster (and doesn't hold many NFTs) and have about five other wallets for the assets that I care about that aren't connected to fc
No! but I will be using my other wallet to mint and send it to this wallet.
I think I should be minting from a separate wallet than where most of my assets are for security reasons even though that’s not necessarily what I do now
Yes. I keep high value stuff in dedicated accounts, and medium value has higher custody/controls than the one connected to Farcaster. I don’t even transfer them later to this account.
Yup. I had an address that was compromised (or almost compromised), which also has a few airdrop / partybid rights. Anytime I can claim something I do so and then transfer it over to my current one.
Yes, my unisocks don’t show up (because they are an nft redeemed from an erc20 I think).
The reverse As much as I believe in FC/team, strong avoidance habit re connecting to non-essential applications with value-laden wallets
