experimentation is messy but we’ll get there I think people enjoy that farcaster is a sandbox
I find it all pretty interesting at this stage. Don't the channels allow you to more or less focus in on the content you are looking to engage with at any given time?
I am curious. Were you around for the heyday of Google+ and the communities that launched? Listening to your last podcast gave me flashbacks to the struggles they had (I started a community that ballooned to 100k people). It was a nightmare and they just shut it all down and killed g+ because of spam
yeah, i think the key here is accepting that the onchain features and experiments are here to stay (and are often fun and valuable) while recognizing that it's spamming the feed a client that gets this balance right will absolutely dominate channels likely should feel more like chat rooms and be feed independent
the feed was great before because good conversations getting rid of reply bumping killed good conversations bring it back and you get the old warpcast back
starting to use the mute button a little more aggressively but still way more vacuous stuff than 3 months ago.
