One additional note: enclosed in the repo is a fork of go-libp2p I hope to get the changes of merged back into mainline — it includes an update to peer keys such that they support ed448, which is previously unsupported. This is a necessary addition for Q (and in general), more details to follow.
Last note and then I’ll quiet down for the night: if you want to be part of the set of bootstrap peers (and know how to operate a server outside of cloud infra), and have not yet reached out to me, please do so. I will follow up with those in that group shortly

Cassie, full disclosure, I have no idea what I’m doing with this (yet)😅 … Do I need to install something on my Mac to be able execute that “go run” command in Terminal that retrieves the Peer ID? I tried simply plugging in the pathname as indicated but without success.
Is this the needs a lot of bandwidth thing? Sounds like no bueno for digital ocean?? If not hmu
