Gonna read a William Gibson book. I’m such a slacker. This will be my first of his. Which book should I read? Pattern Recognition Neuromancer The Peripheral …

I’m gonna go with The Peripheral. I think with Gibson it’s better to start later and work your way back.

Necromancer! And if you've played Cyberpunk 2077, prepare to be shocked at how much the old creator lifted straight from Gibson 🤣

I had a few times in my early 20s where I failed to get into Necromancer, think I was expecting an action plot, easy read. 10 years later I finally took my time with it, taking note of the crazy high amount of creative made up names, appreciating the poetry of this new cyberspace vocabulary he invented/popularized.

Neuromancer. So delightfully weird. You can see its influence and it’s so cool.
