Given reccent FWB app, I'm always surprised the following don't have good mobile apps: - politicians / supporters - big companies / employees, i.e. a mobile app intranet - VC firms / portfolio companies
Bookface (YCombinator) and Cerebro (776) should for sure be mobile apps!!
Re ventures - def a few have web apps .. prob not mobile native but react friendly
too niche markets to build a specilised VC-backed co doing WL mobile apps here. I remember looking at these markets as potential pivots back in the day There's nationbuilder for politicians that a16z funded but it hasn't been a home run
Internal utilities are always neglected. Companies focus more on customer-facing tech rather than employees-facing one. Both 2 and 3 here are basically inward-focus.
Counterpoint, it is annoying when companies make one off apps. Every airline, for example
political and advocacy campaigns get built up and disbanded so quickly, there’s usually not much incentive for investing in a great mobile app. it’s a bummer.
what would be the key features if just announcement, twitter is good enough?
