For funzies: What parental task would this describe?

i say: 16 semi fungible modes of mac’n’chz to create 4 allergen-specific meals

Okay, sounds like a good problem, but that's not it. It's here in f/parenting on purpose. It's my son's homework and I never learned how to deal with such problems. So I thought I reach out. I know I can simply try every combination, but I'm sure there should be a method to approach this problem.
