Cardio for the sake of cardio is excruciating If it’s not fun I can’t shake hyper awareness of each second ticking by What are fun ways to get the heart pumping?

On the rowing machine, see how much time it takes to get to 800m Then try to beat that time every cardio day

Barbell complexes are pretty brutal. I'm always on the floor after. Can't say it's "better" than steady state cardio for heart health though. I still try to do actual cardio (airbike or eliptical)

The only way that I’ve become a runner was by interval training. Change up the speed or incline every minute while listening to house music.

Maybe worth trying out classes at a gym? Doing cardio with a group + instructor has been a lot more fun and motivating for me

Bored out of my mind after running 5 minutes, but can do 45 on heavy bag no problem. A world of difference in terms of enjoyment level.

I’ve started taking speed way down — running easier than ever — and then turning on a movie or playing with my phone, inspired by https://x.com/runliftrunlift/status/1697744805978079518

I recently discovered 'home cardio exercises' (lots of them on search engines and app stores) Great for bad weather or when you want to cycle activities.

This is one of my favorites: 3 rounds for time: 21-15-9 reps - row machine calories - assault bike calories - ski erg calories You’ll barely know where you are let alone be able to be distracted by time
